The Ascended Masters are called Ascended Masters because they have mastered time and space. Through trial and error in many lifetimes, they  applied  the same laws that Jesus and others have proven.  They ascended into the Presence of God as Jesus did when he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight. The cloud into which they ascended is the mystical Presence of the I AM. I AM That I AM is the name of God revealed to Moses when he beheld a bush that burned but was not consumed.  – Exodus 3:14

These saints and sages of East and West have arisen from every continent and walk of life and are here to help others find the path home to God. They include Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Kuan Yin – the Goddess of Mercy in the East,  Saint Francis of Assisi, Confucius, Mary the Mother of Jesus, John the Beloved, Lord Maitreya , El Morya, Enoch, Saint Michael the Archangel, and Saint Germain.

An Ascended Master has  transmuted at least 51 percent of his karma, fulfilled his divine plan (the mission assigned by God), and passed all of his/her spiritual initiations of sacrifice, selflessness, service, and surrender. Having fulfilled all of this, these ones have attained union with God through the ritual of the ascension. The ascension is completed by an acceleration of the sacred fire into the Presence of the I AM THAT I AM.

Ascended Masters reside in the planes of Spirit, the kingdom of God (God’s consciousness). In the etheric plane the Masters have their retreats — temples and cities of light where we can go in spiritual meditation and while our bodies sleep at night.

The Teachings of the Ascended Masters® have been revealed through their Messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Mark Prophet established The Summit Lighthouse® in 1958 and Elizabeth, his twin flame, joined him in 1961. Together they brought forth the teachings of the ages. These teachings hold keys to help you and me to balance our karma, pass our initiations, fulfill our mission, and to lead us all the way home to the heart of God.
